Day 57 - Moving


5.5 pounds to go.  Still not back to where I was last Thursday morning.  Crazy that it's taking this long to get back.  The scale keeps moving in the right direction though.  Even if I don't hit the goal on Friday I'm gonna get there soon.  I know Saturday night is going to be a bit of a splurge as my wife and I are going to a holiday party for her work.  They are catering in bbq from a local place that's pretty good.  I'm doubting there will be any green items present.  That means two things.  One, I need to keep strict these next few days.  Two, the cheat day might be good for me as it will be a bump in calories, which will hopefully keep my body off the "starvation mode" track.  Number two is a theory that Timothy Ferriss covers in his book.  It kinda makes sense.  If nothing else, it's a little reward for eating pretty strictly for a stretch.  All work and no play makes me fall off the wagon.


Today's meals:
  Breakfast:  Pistachios and Dt Mt Dew
  Lunch:  Salad, grilled chicken breast, balsamic vinaigrette
  Snack:  Dt Mt Dew
  Dinner:  Taco salad - heavy on veggies

Exercise:
  Pushup Challenge -  37, again, not on the official program - but progress.
  10k Steps -6K registered on the phone, probably pretty accurate.
  Squats - Off day

Vitamins & Supplements:  Multi Vitamin, Super- B Complex, Vitamin C, Probiotic

For sure I had too much pop today.  I felt kinda crappy because of it. Overall not a horrible day, just need to keep going.
